Jim, Jim, and family are very compassionate and make the families of their loved ones who have passed feel comfortable during a time of distress. During covid Jim helped us with the time frame and postponement of the service due to sick family members. My grandpa was a veteran and they had a beautiful military service. The family has always gone above and beyond with every step along the way of the heart breaking process making us feel at ease knowing our loved ones would be taken care of. Beverly ridge funeral home did a fantastic job handling our father's funeral service. Funeral director Jim made us feel comfortable through the whole process. From our 1st communications he's always responded in a timely manner. Jim and family always had the solutions to any concerns we had. We knew the process would be complicated because my father had passed out of state. However Jim handled the process very professional. Jim personally worked with the California funeral home in getting our father to Illinois. He personally went to the airport upon arrival to receive my dad. Jim never left us hanging without answering any of our concerns. At 1 point we got a little worried as Jim had several funerals on the same day of our fathers. However he reassured us that the replacement for our service would be fine. Yes we were a little worried however was pleasantly surprised as they did a wonderful job from the service to the burial. Yes we highly recommend Beverly ridge as they handled the process very well and professional from start to finish.

Beverly Ridge Funeral home did a fantastic job handling my grandmother’s funeral services. Jim Trolia Jr. (and dad) truly make you feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. I had been messaging Jim frequently throughout the day with questions and would always receive a response within 15-30 minutes. It made everything so much easier. On top of that, Jim would be asking our family if there was anything MORE they can do for us! In the end, seeing my grandma looking so beautiful on her last day, I knew we had made the right decision using this family business. They treat you as if you were their own.

Our family has used Beverly Ridge funeral home many times. This was my first time personal planning a funeral. Jim and his entire staff went over and above to help us do something that we had no knowledge of. This the third time I Used Beverly ridge funeral home. They have always given us excellent service, and very courteous, and thoughtful. Each time I have used their services it has been pleasant very low stress scenario and they’ve always been courteous, polite, compassionate, and understanding. They serve the entire community with the same respect to every individual it comes to home. Some of the funerals had complications and I was most grateful for their knowledge of the law and the sensitivity. They even help with the preneed or preplanned funeral arrangements. As many times as I came to him they treated me and everyone else but the same care and courtesy and went to great links to make sure that they weren’t a part of the grieving process . My wife was one of the first few to write a review for Beverly Ridge and and they made such an impact that she made sure that people knew how much she and I appreciate it they’re going above and beyond. I would give them five stars or more five being the best. I would suggest this funeral home to anyone regardless of race creed or color . The loss of a loved one can be overwhelming, but the gentle, practical and compassionate guidance of this funeral home allowed us to say good bye with dignity in the tradition of our beliefs.
In recent years when funeral arrangements had to be made from out of state and, in one instance, coordinated with the Veterans’ Administration, our needs were anticipated and fully accommodated.
