Theresa (Okruta) Cetera

Theresa Cetera, 91, of Chicago, IL passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Theresa was born on January 24, 1931 in Harvey, IL.  The daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Nega) Okruta, she was educated in the schools of Harvey.  Theresa married Stanley Cetera on November 18, 1950 at St. John the Baptist Church.  Theresa worked as a Tariff Logistics Coordinator for the ICG Railroad.  She was a member of St. Christina Church.  Her hobbies included reading, cooking, bingo, and playing cards. 

Devoted mother of Pamela, Paul (Leslie), David (Kathy), Dan (Debbie), Don (Cathy), Martin, Karen (Lorander) Sterling, Mark (Erin), Tom (Maureen) and Janeth (Chris) Thomas.  Loving Grandma of 23 and Great Grandma of 21.  Dear sister of Josephine Szul and Genevieve Deruntz.  Theresa was preceded in her death by her husband Stanley, and sisters Sophia, Charlotte, Monica, and Mary. Loving sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many.

 Visitation Friday, June 17th, 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Beverly Ridge Funeral Home; 10415 S. Kedzie Ave. Funeral, Saturday, June 18th, 8:45 a.m. from Beverly Ridge Funeral Home to 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Christina Church, 11100 S.
