Patricia K. Mavrinac, nee Burke, Veteran US Navy, WWII WAVES. Beloved wife of the late Henry. Dear mother of Henry (Daryl Thompson), Joseph (Diane), Patricia Wheeler, Loretta (William) Hagerman, Marianne Mavrinac and the late Tom (Mary Kay). Loving grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 3. Dear sister of the late James (the late Sheila), the late Thomas (the late Lois), the late Gerald (Mary), the late Michael (the late Carlene). Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Survived by her K-9 best friend Honey. Patricia was born in a yellow Taxi cab in front of Michael Reese Hospital. She graduated from Our lady of Loretto High School in 1941 where she learned to play the violin and performed at Orchestra Hall. After graduation she went to business college and got a job at Studebaker. After that her father gave permission to join the Navy where she received two honorable discharges and was a very proud veteran and loved her country.
