Maureen Lotti Obituary

Maureen T. Lotti

July 16, 1972 — May 3, 2023

Maureen T. Lotti (nee Brady) of Chicago.

Beloved wife of 24+ years to Michael P. Lotti.

Loving mother of Meghan, Katie, & Joseph Lotti.

Dear daughter of Maureen T. Brady and cherished sister to Erin Brady and the late Daniel Brady.

Fond niece, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Maureen grew up in Oak Forest, attended Tinley Park High School and Lewis University. She was an educator for the Chicago Public Schools (Hearst Elementary) and the Archdiocese of Chicago. She spent most of her career teaching Kindergarten, and she adored the kids and her co-workers. Most recently she was employed as a contractor for Robert Half.

Maureen married her high school sweetheart in 1998 and moved to the Mt. Greenwood neighborhood where she and her husband raised their three children. Maureen loved being a mom, spending as much time as possible with her children. Her years were joyously filled with attending school functions and being their biggest cheerleader at their extensive sports and scouting events. She cherished her family and became a caregiver for her husband’s grandmother, her father-in-law, as well as her mother and sister during their bouts with illness. She loved cooking, gardening, and country music. She enjoyed family vacations with recent memorable travels to Niagara Falls and Nashville.

Over the last year Maureen courageously battled Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer and was cared for by her family.

A memorial mass will take place in honor of her life on Saturday July 1st at Queen of Martyrs Church in Evergreen Park.Visitation from 9:30 am – 11:00 am, mass 11:00 am.
