Mary A Harney, nee Durkin, age 92, of Oak Lawn, passed away at home peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 1, 2022. Born May 13, 1929 to the late Pat John and Mary Jane Durcan in Curracunane,Ireland. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Harney. Loving mother of Mary (Sonny) Freundt, John (Silvia), Patrick (Patti), Nora (Matthew) Graff, Rosemary (Frank) LaMantia, Martin (Teri) and Michael (Kate). Cherished grandmother of Shaun, Nichole, Jacob, Lucas, Anna, Justin, John, Michael, Aiden, and Sophia. Loving sister of Celia, “Josephine” (the late Denis) O’Donoghue of Plainfield, and the late Bridie (the late Martin) Rainsford, Paddy (Dorothy) Durcan, Martin (the late Mary) Durcan of Ireland.
