Lawrence Abney, age 84. Beloved husband of Kathleen, nee Healy. Loving father of Lawrence (Iris) Abney. Dear grandfather of Ariel (Ashley), Marcelino and Nicole and great grandfather of 5. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Caring companion of his grand dogs White Sox, August and Buddy. Retired Mail Man with many years of dedicated service in the Mt. Greenwood Neighborhood. Memorial Visitation Saturday, August 28th at St. John Fisher Church; 10300 S. Washtenaw 1:00 p.m. until time of Mass 2:00 p.m. Interment Private. 773-779-4411
