John J. McArdle

John "Turk" McArdle, age 72, beloved son of the late George Sr. and Doris McArdle.  Dear brother of Sharon (John) Duffy, George Jr. (late Jan), James (Nancy), Margaret, Bill (Tammy) and Patrick (Martha). John was also a fond uncle and deeply loyal friend to many. 

He was a proud member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local #281 for more than 30 years. Known as 'Turk', he followed the White Sox and Bears.  He most recently lived on Longboat Key where he enjoyed kayaking and fishing in the Sarasota Bay. His quick wit and humor will be deeply missed.

Funeral Friday 9:15 a.m. from Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, 10415 S. Kedzie Ave. to St. John Fisher Church Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Seena Magowitz (pancreatic cancer research) would be appreciated.  (www.seenamagowitzfoundation.org)
