Devoted son of the late Joseph and Dorothy.  Loving father of Sherry (Andrew) Harders, Carrie (Gary) Guild, Jack (Jackie) and Jamie (Dayanara). Loving grandpa and papa of Kaitlyn (Reece) Nolte, Morgan, Annie, Dylan, Jordan, Michael, Jayden, William, Emma and Aleyna and great grandpa of Mila and Liam. Dear brother of Kathy (the late Charles) Bergeron and the late Robert. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and cousin and friend to many. John was a race car enthusiast; racing at Raceway Park in Blue Island, attending many cars shows with Dennis, Dave and his 1965 El Camino and watching NASCAR. Dedicated employee and diesel mechanic for over 33 years. Enjoyed spending time cheering on the Chicago Bears and Cubs, woodworking, sending funny videos and Tik Toks over his phone and was a great neighbor always lending a helping hand when needed.
