Jean Ellen Ricker, nee Hofbauer. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Loving mother of Robert, Alsip FD (Nicolette) and Ken. Dear grandmother of Robert (Katelyn) and Ryan Ricker. Dear sister of the late Robert (the late Barb), Chuck (Fran) and Babe. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, friend and cousin to many will be missed by all. Proud resident of Mt. Greenwood and parishioner of Queen of Martyrs Church for over 50 years. Retired Chicago Park District Lifeguard, dedicating over 35 years teaching countless children to swim at Ridge and Mt. Greenwood Park. Loyal supporter of Get Behind the Vest and the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, she generously donated her handcrafted quilts annually to help raise funds for these causes. In lieu of flowers memorials to Chicago Police Memorial Foundation or Fire Buddies. Funeral Tuesday 9:15 a.m. from Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, 10415 S.
