Gregory M. Frain, Retired CFD – Engine 95, Veteran US Army, was called to rest in the loving arms of the Lord on August 19th. Beloved and devoted husband of Frances, nee Bila. Loving and cherished father of Michael (Rhonda), Carl (Laura), Gail (Richard) Favoriti, Julie (Robert) Jostes, Joyce (Christopher) Maul and Catherine (Daniel Estrada). Loving grandfather of Stephanie, Nicole (Joe), Michael, Carly, Jeffery (Meagan), Katie (the late Andy), Jennifer (Kenny), Eric, Matthew, Caitlin (Andy), Kelly, Laura, Leanna, and Danny. Dearly loved great grandfather of Anna, Vivienne, Devin, Jax, Thomas, Corin, Alayna, Dylan, Aidan, Kensley, Brantley, and Emmerson. Dear brother of William (Lila) (the late Judy) Frain. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and dear friend to all who knew him. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and administrative staff at the Veteran’s Administration and Vitas Hospice who showed continuing compassion and care throughout his illness. Funeral Monday 8:45 a.m. from Beverly Ridge Funeral Home; 10415 S. Kedzie Ave to St. Christina Church Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
