Daniel Krause, age 51, beloved husband of Tracey (née Fabsits), devoted father of Nate and Ali, and cherished son of Sheilah and the late Earl. Dan was also a dear brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and loyal friend who will be deeply missed.

A dedicated employee of the City of Chicago and proud member of Local Union #9 for more than 30 years, Dan was admired for his strong work ethic and generosity.

Dan’s greatest joy was spending time with Tracey and their children, who were his whole world. He loved cheering for the Cubs, planting flowers in the yard with his kids, and spending time with his best friend Bob and his other dog Seven. His humor, warmth, and unforgettable smile made him a friend to all, and his kindness will be remembered by everyone who knew him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 3:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, 10415 S. Kedzie Ave. Family and friends will gather Friday at Queen of Martyrs Church for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment private.
