Cynthia Marie (Spurlin) Tallent

Cynthia Marie Tallent, nee Spurlin. Beloved partner of John (Jay) Gaden. Loving mother of Gregory and Tracey (John) Papach. Loving grandmother of Eleanor Papach. Dear sister of Howard (Patti) Spurlin, Sharon (Joe) Zic, Sandra Jozaitis and Susan Spurlin. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. 
Cindy graduated from Morgan Park High School and was an avid entrepreneur in the medical equipment industry. Cindy was fun loving and extremely hard working. She was fiercely independent and encouraged others to be the same. Understanding that although independence is important, there is no better job than the job of a mother. She cared and loved her children and worked hard to provide a better life. She was a positive constant present in their lives, and could always be counted on. Cindy was the eldest girl amongst her siblings and took that position seriously as her “take charge”  personality completely shone through. She loved and cared for her younger sisters well into their senior years. She was happy to be the one everyone could count on, and proud of the people they became. She had a contagious laugh and sincere warm embrace that will be missed. Cindy loved tending to others and was extremely generous to family and friends. She would spoil those she was close to and even those she didn’t know well at all. It brought her great joy to bring a smile to someone else’s face.
